 Wugang company 12MnNiVR steel production technology is based on the GB19189 standard, according to the relevant institute of steel design and development, and relative to the Japanese standard JIS G3115 standard of SPV490Q, technical requirements are more stringent in the following areas: Steel requires a lower P, S content; welding crack sensitivity coefficient Pcm decreased, more conducive to steel welding; impact test samples from vertical to horizontal direction, the impact of temperature from -10 degrees to -15 degrees or lower, and the impact energy increased. 
 12MnNiVR steel quality control measures: 
 ? smelting process characteristics: 1, the beginning of electric arc furnace + oxygen blowing refining flux. 2, LF refining precise control of composition and pouring temperature. 3, VD vacuum. 
 ? rolling process: 1,4200 mm mill, rolling pressure, the use of controlled rolling. 2, AGC automatic control system, steel plate with small difference. 3, steel shot blasting treatment to ensure good surface quality of steel. 
 ? quenching process: the introduction of the new German LOI companies roll quenching machine, complete radiant heating systems to reduce surface oxidation and then heated plate, rolling steel quenching to ensure flatness. Tempering process to ensure proper plate of different thickness with good strength and toughness match. 
 The physical quality of steel plate: 
 20-50mm strength 635-655MPa, -15 degrees toughness 251-300J. 
 12MnNiVR plate by "sample thermal simulation", "reheat cracking test", "weld cold cracking test", "large heat input welding test" fully meet the large crude oil storage tank on security and performance requirements of welding.
